Spyrosketches and Scribble

Before beginning my career in UX design, I knew that I wanted to do creative things. I had always scribbled drawings on pieces of paper or made custom greeting cards for friends. I challenged myself to think about my drawings and art in other contexts.  From this challenge, Spyrosketches was born.
What began as an experiment in creativity became a small design label and fight sport apparel company named Scribble. I enjoy the process of creating branded and wearable products. Currently I am consulting with companies on their branding, designs for apparel, logos and aesthetics.

Skellybone X Spyrosketches

I had the unique opportunity to start a partnership with Skellybone. A fantastic kid owned and operated apparel company run by then 13 year old dynamo, Cruz Knecht. With Cruz and Skellybone, we produced a set of grappling shorts, rash guard, t-shirt and patches. I am currently working on launching a line of products for this upcoming year. Here are the Iron Sides rash guard, shorts and t-shirt.

Work with Cruz Cmbt

Cruz Combat was the first company that gave me the opportunity to try my hand at apparel design. I had been challenged by a friend to develop a one off custom jiujitsu rash guard as a marketing product. Since then, I have designed and sold 4 unique products as well as an upcoming collaboration on more apparel.

Creating NFTs

Being a bit of a blockchain nerd and crypto enthusiast I was interested by the explosion of NFTs on to the art and blockchain scene. As an experiment I minted a series of NFTs on OpenSea and became one of the selected artists for the more curated NFT marketplace KnownOrigin. While creating NFTs is not the main thrust of my interest in the space, experimenting with creating PFP NFTs has given me experience and context within the space and has positioned me as a go-to consultant on upcoming projects in my UX work.
